Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 March 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Tutti (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. About Tutti
Tutti is a marketplace that connects music students (“Clients”) with piano accompanists (“Musicians”) for exams and performances. We facilitate the matching, communication, and payment process. Tutti is not a party to the agreement between Client and Musician — we act as an intermediary.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent, to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
- Each person may hold one Client account and/or one Musician account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Musician obligations
- Musicians must complete their profile and receive admin approval before accepting bookings.
- Profile information (experience, qualifications, rates) must be accurate and up to date.
- Musicians must respond to match notifications in a timely manner.
- Musicians must honour confirmed bookings. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in account suspension.
- Musicians are independent contractors, not employees of Tutti. They are responsible for their own tax obligations.
5. Client obligations
- Clients must provide accurate event details (date, time, location, exam requirements) when submitting requests.
- Clients must pay the required deposit to confirm a booking.
- Clients must honour confirmed bookings and communicate any changes promptly.
- Clients must confirm booking completion after the event to release the remaining payment to the musician.
6. Bookings and payments
50%
Deposit on booking
50%
On completion
8%
Service fee
- A booking is confirmed when the Client pays a 50% deposit of the musician's quoted rate.
- The remaining 50% is charged after both parties confirm the booking is complete.
- Tutti charges a service fee of 8% of the total booking value, deducted from the musician's payout.
- All payments are processed through Stripe. By using the Platform, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
- Refunds are handled according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Contact information
Contact details (email, phone) are only shared between Client and Musician after a booking is confirmed and paid. Attempting to exchange contact information before booking confirmation — including through the messaging system — is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension.
8. Reviews
- Both parties may leave a review after a booking is completed.
- Reviews must be honest, fair, and based on the actual booking experience.
- Reviews containing harassment, discrimination, or false claims will be removed.
- Tutti reserves the right to moderate or remove reviews that violate these terms.
9. Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Circumvent the Platform to avoid paying fees (e.g., arranging bookings outside Tutti after being matched).
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
- Create fake accounts or impersonate others.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Platform without permission.
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights.
10. Intellectual property
The Tutti name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. Content you upload (bio, audio samples, videos) remains yours, but you grant Tutti a licence to display it on the Platform for the purpose of facilitating bookings.
11. Limitation of liability
Tutti facilitates connections between Clients and Musicians but is not responsible for the quality of services provided, the conduct of users, or any disputes arising from bookings. The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our liability is limited to the fees you have paid to Tutti in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Disputes between users
If a dispute arises between a Client and Musician, we encourage both parties to resolve it directly. If resolution is not possible, Tutti may mediate at our discretion. For payment disputes, we may hold funds until the matter is resolved. Our decision on payment disputes is final.
13. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. Tutti may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or extended inactivity. Upon termination, any pending payouts will be processed, and your personal data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
